Whether it's a relationship, a personal possession you don't use anymore, or a bad habit, letting go is never easy. For many Salesforce admins, “data” is on that list as well.
A Salesforce study found that in the average customer’s contact database, 20% of records are useless due to factors such as records needing updates or being duplicates. Despite this reality, many Admins hesitate to delete their data. Removing the wrong records can result in compliance breaches, potentially leading to fines.
